BEHEMOTH Returns To Live Stage; Video Available

Polish extreme metallers BEHEMOTH played their first show in over a year this past Saturday, October 8 in Poznan, Poland. Fan-filmed video footage of the concert can be seen below.

BEHEMOTH frontman Adam "Nergal" Darski, who was diagnosed with leukemia in August 2010, stated: "Magick is back, my friends! We have our first 'rebirth shows under our belt, moreover, both Poznan and Gdansk were totally sold out and crowd's reactions went beyond anyone's expectations!

"We have a special guest, Krzysztof Azarewicz introducing the band on stage; thanx mate! You are a true friend!

"BEHEMOTH would like to thank every person that came down and shown their support. It cant be underrated. We have few more shows to go and then we're gonna take a deep breath before striking back the European stages in February.

"This is the ultimate manifest and our unconquerable will! Join us!"

In an interview with MetalSucks, Nergal stated about BEHEMOTH's current and upcoming touring activities, "Just wait and see us on the stage. You'll see. I'm not going to reveal anything about it, but we It's not gonna just be BEHEMOTH. It's not like time stood still for us, like we were frozen in time and are just going to appear with the same entourage and in the same outfits. No. We're going to come back, we want to remind people of our existence obviously, but we want to make a fucking impact, an impression. We want to show them that, hey, we are still fucking evolving. We're not just hoping that you'll come to see us because I was sick. Fuck that. I'll be better soon and we're going to deliver!"

BEHEMOTH recently releasd a video for the song "Lucifer" off the band's current album, "Evangelion". The Grupa 13-directed clip features Polish singer, guitarist, and poet Maciej Malenczuk, who also contributed guest vocals to the track.
